Red Bull have been the Goliath of Formula 1 this season. The paddock roared in delight when this Goliath was slain last weekend at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Red Bull, after winning every single Grand Prix this year, weren’t even in contention for the win in Singapore. Sergio Perez, now claims that the Milton-Keynes outfit will be back to their dominating best at the Japanese GP.

“We still don’t fully understand what went so wrong in Singapore,” said Perez [according to racefans.net]. “We have some ideas, but certainly this track is very different. So, there should not be a reason why not to be strong in Suzuka.”, added the Red Bull driver. Pundits and fans speculate that the high-downforce nature of the Suzuka circuit has led to Red Bull’s and Perez’s confidence.

Perez finished the Singapore GP in P8 after qualifying in P13, an unexpectedly lowly performance by the Mexican in the strongest car this season. But Perez looks to get back to their best at the Japanese GP as he concluded by saying, “Actually, this should be one of the best circuits for us.”

After their woes at the Singapore GP, Red Bull seem to have actually bounced back in time for the Japanese Grand Prix. Red Bull hope to be their usual brilliant self at Suzuka.

Max Verstappen chases his 13th win this season and right now, he looks comfortably on course for it. All eyes will be on Mercedes, McLaren, and Ferrari as they look to make Verstappen’s job harder.
