Max Verstappen gives his take on Australian GP DNF
While Max Verstappen’s retirement at Albert Park has made immense noise, he has shed light on the problem that ultimately led to his DNF. In the Dutchman’s opinion, things were not right on his RB20 even before the lights went out!

After his retirement, the 26-year-old explained the reason behind his tough outing.
We could see in the data that from the start the right rear brake locked. As soon as the lights went off the right brake stuck on, so the car was hard to drive from word go - very snappy in corners. If the brake is stuck on, that doesn't help.Max Verstappen said in the pits

F1 saw a new race winner after a very long time because of Max Verstappen’s Australian GP retirement. However, one has to remember that he still has the fastest car underneath him and thus, will come roaring back during next month’s Japanese GP.
The recent Melbourne outing was not in the script for Verstappen, but knowing his might in the sport, he will make a solid comeback. After the Australian GP, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc is only six points behind the Dutchman in the Driver’s Championship.
