Spanish Grand Prix: Barcelona all set for sunny conditions throughout the weekend, almost no chances of rain

The Spanish Grand Prix is going to be the second race this year in Europe; warm winds and sunny skies in Barcelona are set to welcome Formula 1 at the end of this week.

The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix has been the only race in Europe this year, and The Spanish GP is set to be the second one.

We saw mixed weather and track conditions in Imola, with a very wet track which led to the delay in being allowed to use DRS, and also made it difficult for drivers to drive around on wet lines instead of dry lines on the track.

Luckily, this won’t be the case in Barcelona, as the weather seems to be dry and sunny for most parts of the weekend, which means that the race and other sessions would be more exciting to watch, sending cars to their maximum potential with new upgrades.

The temperatures would be comfortable with the mercury dropping and rising between 22 to 24 degrees.

The Spanish Grand Prix Weather Forecast

Following are the predictions for all sessions during the Spanish Grand Prix of 2022 at Barcelona;

Friday – The first two practice sessions would be held on Friday which would witness light breeze (around 5 miles per hour or 8 kilometers per hour), with only a maximum of 5% chances of any precipitation. The air would be 60% humid in the afternoon and around 80% during the late morning period. Temperature during FP1 would be around 21 degrees and 23 degrees during FP2.

Saturday – Saturday would be very similar to Friday, with an increase in wind temperature and gusts of winds blowing at around 16 miles per hour. Humidity would be almost the same but the temperature shall rise to 24 degrees during qualifying.

Sunday – Sunday would be a beautiful and sunny day for the race. The temperatures would be comfortable at around 24 degrees, and there would be a very small chance of rain (5%). So we can expect it to be a dry weekend and open for the race.

Cars would be able to unlock almost maximum potential because of the dry track and comfortable temperatures, yet, it is a difficult track to make any overtakes, and hence drivers would have to be very careful while qualifying.
