F1 boss claims Max Verstappen’s dominant 2023 Championship triumph shows that ‘pure racing talent makes the difference’

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen secured his third straight F1 driver championship by finishing second in Saturday’s Qatar GP sprint Race. The race result extended his lead to second-placed Sergio Perez by over 200 points. Verstappen now has 407 points compared to Perez’s 223 points.

The 26-year-old has won 28 of the 38 Grand Prix (74 percent) since the start of 2022, including 13 of the 16 this year. He has had a very successful and dominant season this year as well. He is proving himself and deserves all the praise for moving around the paddock.

F1 boss Stefano Domenicali was one of the many praising Max over his title this weekend. He says, as reported by Telegraaf.nl, “Actually, there are not enough words to describe what season he has played and what he is still working on.” He also says he possesses pure racing talent and says, “Max shows that you can make a difference with pure racing talent.”

He talks about his performance since day one and says, “It’s impressive how focused he has been since the first day of this season.” He also speaks of how his performance is ‘something different,’ saying, “With his performance, he really puts something special in the history of Formula 1.”
