Formula One is very well known for the peculiar trophy designs that the various circuits come up with each year and the trophy that has been seen as the best one of the current season is the one that was given to Championship leader Max Verstappen at the end of the Belgian Grand Prix.
This year’s Belgian Grand Prix trophy design was something that had never been seen in the sport before as the trophy was designed with the view of recyclability and it also comprises the lap layout of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
Moreover, the trophy has got elements of black asphalt in it and has also got droplets of water from Eau rogue. The word Eau Rogue means Red Water in French, it is a 15 Kilometer stream that originates from Hautes Fragnes and runs alongside the Belgian Grand Prix Circuit. The special stream even crosses the circuit at one point.
When the trophy was presented to Max Verstappen, it immediately caught the attention of the media, and since then, has become a hot topic in the world of F1.
