A big controversy recently involved the Wolff couple, Toto Wolff and Susie Wolff, regarding their reception of controversial information about the sport. However, in the midst of all this, Susie Wolff has broken her silence and called out FIA over the unnecessary investigations. The F1 Acadamy head initially had branded FIA’s actions as “intimidatory and misogynistic.”

Susie Wolff took to Instagram and opened up about her feelings regarding the investigation. The Scottish talked about the moment she saw the allegations from FIA. She also added about the insinuations that were made in public regarding her integrity. Wolff further exclaimed that FIA or any of its officials had not spoken to her directly about the status quo.

When I saw the statement issued by the FIA yesterday evening, my first reaction was: 'Is that it'?. For two days, insinuations have been made about my integrity in public and thorough background briefings, but nobody from FIA has spoken to me directly.
Susie Wolff said, in her Instagram post.

In addition to this, Wolff exclaimed about being a victim of collateral damage in an unsuccessful attack on someone else. She also did not rule out the possibility of being a target of a failed attempt to discredit her personally. Furthermore, Toto Wolff’s wife discussed how an unfounded press release questioned her hard work in the sport.

I might have been collateral damage in an unsuccessful attack on somebody else or the target of a failed attempt to discredit me personally, but I have worked too hard to have my reputation called into question by an unfounded press release.

Susie Wolff insists that the women in the sport deserve better

The former motorsport driver talked about how the incident had taken her aback due to the immediate spread of the rumors. Despite this controversy, she applauded the unified support from the teams in Formula 1 and recalled the passionate people that she has worked with in the past in the sport. These people have the best interests of the sport at heart.

Therefore, she claimed the rumors didn’t intimidate her and stated her intention to follow up until they caught the actual miscreants. She finally claimed that they deserve better as a sport.

The entire controversy is something unexpected but needs to be checked out immediately. The support from the teams in Formula 1 proves the unity between the teams on the grid and the team leaders. This scenario needs to be rechecked and ensure justice for Susie Wolff and Toto Wolff. Additionally, FIA needs to critically analyze any allegations before taking action against them.
