Max Verstappen, has just moments ago finished his Brazil GP qualifying outing and dwelled on ending up in P2 for tomorrow’s Sprint race.

Max Verstappen, just like all the other drivers, was having a hard time finding some decent grip on the rain-drenched track, but despite that, was able to do a good enough run for P2.

While the Dutchman would have ideally liked to be on pole for the Sprint race, he is not too fussed about it and while dwelling on his outing during the post-qualifying interview, he added, “We knew that it was going to be that one lap because there was that potential for rain and I think I was the fourth of fifth car.

I locked up into turn 8. That cost me pole today, but compared to the proper position for tomorrow it’s looking good.”

He further added, “In these conditions, anything can happy. It was difficult but you also need to find the limit that you can push and you don’t want to have big mistakes and potentially drop out.

Max Verstappen is in P2 for the upcoming Sprint Race, and there is absolutely no doubt that he is going to let everything out on the track, in order to make sure he is on pole for Sunday’s Brazil GP.

However, it is not going to be a walk in the park for Verstappen as rain is predicted for the Sprint race as well and it could get extremely tricky for the drivers to keep their cars on the track.

Moreover, pole sitter, Kevin Magnussen is also not going to simply hand over P1 to Verstappen and is going to make it as hard as possible for him to snatch the pole position off him.

Considering how qualifying has panned out for all the drivers and how the weather is adamant on playing its tricks all through the weekend, would the 2022 F1 World Champion, Max Verstappen be able to land his RB18 in P1 at the end of the Sprint Race?
