Max Verstappen has an all-business personality on the track, and often so on the paddock. Frequent outbursts on the radio are part of that, as are brutally honest assessments or interviews. Some feel that he is too confrontational, or rude, but it does not matter, because his approach to the sport has served him well.
His clear-cut approach to communication with his team allows him to get his point across quickly, and clearly. Expressing your displeasure at something is an important part of fixing that particular problem. Obviously, he’s not going to change it, because this approach works very well for him, as does his aggressive driving style.
But of course, he is not all serious. Max Verstappen does have his funny side. It’s shown in the behind-the-scenes footage, in press conferences, interviews, and even vlogs. In videos posted by the Red Bull team, he is frequently seen cracking jokes, which is probably something people would not expect from him if they only knew about the radio outbursts. But it has time and time again, been shown.

Max Verstappen was seen wearing ‘floaties’
Recently, in an Instagram reel posted by his partner, Kelly Piquet, Verstappen was seen relaxing with his family and friends. One of the more curious sights was him putting on swim armband inflatables, which would presumably belong to Penelope, Piquet’s daughter. He is also seen playing with a water gun and playing with a beach ball.
Some fans have taken to social media to comment on these things that happened in the video:
Verstappen was seen playing with Penelope in the video quite a bit, and fans have called their relationship and the situations ‘the cutest thing in the world’.

While many drivers go on vacations or travel, Verstappen has instead been spending time with his family more. One will hope that this spent time helps him recharge ahead even more for an even stronger half of the season. He is currently 80 points ahead, but he still needs to finish the job.
