The top 5 ‘talents’ of Lando Norris
Lando Norris
Lando Norris is considered to be one of the eminent ‘talents’ in Formula 1, and some even consider him to be part of a list of potential future world champions. Among that list are drivers like George Russell, Charles Leclerc, etc. This season, Norris has been proving his mettle – he is comfortably best of the rest despite as of today, only having the fifth-best car.
You already know much about his exploits on the track. The Briton came very close to winning a race twice – Once in Monza, where McLaren chose not to let the drivers fight, and once in Sochi, where he went off the track after he chose not to pit for wet tyres. But Norris’ talents are not limited to the race track.
Apart from racing, Norris also has other talents – such as video games, golf, or even DJing, and he has shared about them often. Without further ado, here are Lando Norris’ 5 talents, apart from the racing track.

Video Games
In his free time, Lando Norris likes to play video games. That’s very apparent to anyone that had followed what he was doing during the pandemic. While the season was on hold, the ‘Twitch Quartet’, consisting of Norris, Charles Leclerc, George Russell and Alex Albon took to Twitch to stream themselves playing video games.
Not just video games, Norris has an interest in eSports
While he definitely likes to play video games and even partook in a virtual Grand Prix among other personalities and drivers, he also has an interest in eSports. He even owns a team by the name of ‘Quadrant‘ which has famous content creators like Aarava on their roster. The brand also has a team in Halo and even a Call of Duty: Warzone player.
Golf
Like Carlos Sainz, his ‘big brother’ figure, friend and former McLaren teammate, Norris also likes golf. When he went to the US for the Miami Grand Prix, he spent his time off-track playing Golf. But he didn’t always love the sport, as Golf Digest revealed, and three years ago he didn’t even watch it. But it was Carlos Sainz who changed his mind and asked Norris to tag along with him. Norris hasn’t looked back since.
Playing the drums
Before the start of the 2021 season, Lando Norris had taken up drumming as well, taking lessons from One Direction’s live drummer, Josh Devine. Why, you ask? Well, because: “I just want to learn something I can be good at. Singing was off the cards at an early stage. There is no way to get me better at that so drumming was the next thing and it has been good fun.” he said, according to ‘The Sun’.
DJing
Lando Norris has also recently been DJing, and he had earlier called world-famous DJ Martin Garrix the ‘best boat driver around’ in an Instagram story. It seems that Norris has recently purchased a DJ mixer, which he has been using in his free time. In fact, a video surfaced of the Briton doing just that.
As you can see now, Lando Norris is clearly multi-talented. Not only racing, but he has interests in hobbies in a wide range of activities, and in fact, he even designs and paints his own racing gear as a hobby, according to his page on the Formula 1 website.
