“They are already struggling to raise the money,” Sebastian Vettel disappointed with financial rules
Sebastian Vettel recently shared his views on the circuits struggling with financial rules, Germany was one of them and recently we saw Spa as well.
2021 Belgium Grand Prix was a special one since there was no race but the points were allocated. It rained so heavily that the organizers had no chance to start the race leading to only 4 laps in the end that too with a Safety car. The points were halved to be allocated as per the Qualification positions.
The crowd were totally disappointed as no money was refunded by the sport. The 4-time world champion blamed it on the F1 bosses and not the track owners “I think it would be wrong to blame Spa.

Germany Grand Prix to be held in the future
According to the reports, Germany Grand Prix could make a return to the sport as Volkwagen is making an entry with two of their brands Audi and Porsche by 2026. The last German Grand Prix happened in 2019, but with no financial resources to back the track, it was removed from the calendar.
Sebastian thinks he will have no chance to race in his home Grand Prix ever again, although he is happy if the circuit returns but sees it as a struggle for them to do so. Aston martin driver has only won once in his home race which too was in 2013 with Red Bull.
CEO Stefano Domenicali is keen to have a german race since it was a great success over the years and would again make the fans excited but that doesn’t move a leaf in Seb’s life as he is already at the end of his career.
With new rich and eventful circuits like Jeddah being added in 2021, Miami in 2022 and later we see Las Vegas being added in 2023, F1 is slowly moving more to American and Middle Eastern countries which in return are offering them more money it is sad but the reality of this Rich Sport.
