Lewis Hamilton and Nelson Piquet
A story which came to light recently saw Nelson Piquet using racially abusive language against the seven time world champion, Lewis Hamilton. Celebrities from all over the world came to the forefront to support Lewis Hamilton, who himself was pretty quiet on the whole issue for a really long time. But, he recently broke his silence on this controversy by saying that he has been subjected to this behavior all his life and his isn’t something new for him. But, he also said that he’ll keep fighting people like Nelson Piquet to put an end to racism.
All the drivers have condemned the statements of Nelson Piquet including Max Verstappen, who is dating Kelly Piquet. The FIA even had to intervene to publicly condemn the words of the former F1 driver. But, in the latest development to this story, Nelson Piquet has come out and shockingly said that nothing he said was racist or wrong in any manner.
