“This is the worst team I’ve seen in my life”: F1 twitter rages at Alpine after Fernando Alonso retires from the Italian Grand Prix
The Italian Grand Prix is not without its drama and excitement. Fans were seen raging on twitter after Fernando Alonso had to retire his car due to a ‘supposed’ water pressure issue.
The retirement has caused fans to rage at Alpine and many believe this situation could be avoided if they had taken a penalty and given Alonso an engine upgrade. He felt there was something wrong with the car but when he asked the team, the gave him the all clear which makes his retirement, absurd and a clear error from the team’s side.
Fans are enraged at Alpine and hope they suffer bad luck with the way they have treated Alonso throughout the season and despite having a better car than last year, they have suffered reliability issues frequently.
There have been rumors circulating among the fans as to whether the team is neglecting the two time World Champion ever since he announced during the summer break that he will be leaving Alpine and moving to Aston Martin which surprised the team as they had no prior indication of such a change.

Was Fernando Alonso’s move to Aston Martin the correct decision?
The F1 silly season started during the summer break with Fernando Alonso announcing his move to Aston Martin for the 2023 F1 season. He hopes to reshape the team and bring it to the front of the grid.
Many fans questioned this announcement and wondered if this is the best move for the two time World Champion. The 41 year old Spanish driver still hopes to win a championship and this move is one step towards that goal. Currently Aston Martin is at the bottom of the grid and have produced a very slow car this year. They are currently 9th in the Constructors Championship just above the Mercedes run Williams.
Fernando Alonso is currently unhappy with the way he has been treated by the team and the car produced by Alpine this year. These are some of the main factors driving him to move to Aston Martin and he expects to be able to bring the team to the front of the grid next year.
