Naomi Schiff, 2019 W series race driver, offered her broadcasting skills to Sky sport starting this year and has done amazing work over the season till now. A photo on Twitter was later shared of her racing suit from the days of the W series, with a caption defaming her as a not-so-qualified broadcaster. 

She herself retweeted the post with a three emoji yawning caption, which triggered more Twitter users to criticize her. She also received praise from many of her present and former colleagues. One of them being a 7 time world champion, Lewis Hamilton. Lewis himself faces’ critics on an almost regular basis and adequately knows how to prevent and answer them.

“Naomi is an ex-professional racing driver & totally qualified to give her opinion as part of the Sky team,” he wrote.

After Lewis Twitted praises and supported Naomi from the trolls, he started the bush fires for the rest to do the same. He himself received a lot of praise from various personnel for his act. 

“Rarely get to see any of Sky’s coverage of F1,” wrote Chris Medland.

“But from what I have seen of it, there’s no doubt Naomi Schiff has been a brilliant addition. Big fan of her style.” he said.

Another F1 and F-E journalist, Hazel Southwell also provided and supportive hand to Naomi, “You’re brilliant, an excellent addition to the team and your trackside pieces are an absolutely perfect example of how to do motorsport coverage that helps the viewer analyse what they’re seeing – so important with the new regs.”

Freelance F1 journalist, Claire Cottingham, thanked god for Lewis’s existence  “Lewis Hamilton once again the voice of reason in motorsport and showing his support for Naomi Schiff. Thank goodness we have a driver like this speaking up.”

Alice Powell, currently racing in W Series, also showed her support for Naomi, “You rock babes, ignore the idiots” she Twitted.
