“Two of my hero’s” Lewis Hamilton gets emotional as Michael Jordan poses with Briton’s dad in Miami

The seven time World Champion Lewis Hamilton’s social media erupted after he put an Instagram story of  his father and NBA Legend Michael Jordan together. He captioned it “Two of my hero’s.” 

This story comes up as the lights almost go off for the first time in Miami, Florida. Since it is Miami, the drivers had the chance to meet many of their favorite celebrities and spend time with them. As seen in the latest post by the Mercedes team, Lewis Hamilton can be seen in the paddock with Michael Jordan, David Beckham, and Tom Brady. 

Just a few minutes before this, Michael Jordan and Lewis Hamilton’s father, Anthony Hamilton, shared a picture together, which was uploaded by the British on his Instagram story, captioning it, “Two of my hero’s,” making it emotional for many of the fans and himself. Many took it over to Twitter to express how they felt about the wholesome picture.

Earlier this week, Pierre Gasly was seen with Michael Jordan, to which the Frenchman had an amazing experience, as he stated in many reports. The meeting was a 3 hour long dinner which ended with an exchange of signed gifts.

As the main race in Miami gets closer and closer, Lewis Hamilton and other teams had the chance to meet many of their favorite sports and movie stars.

The surprise in the paddock was not limited to David Beckham, or Michael Jordan. Yesterday, during the qualifying session, former first lady of the United States of America, Michelle Obama was present in the Mercedes garage.

David Beckham was also seen joining Red Bull in their garage earlier today. 

Out of all the incidents, Charles Leclerc, after qualifying fastest yesterday, had his pole awarded by Michael Douglas, to whom he tried to pass an unsuccessful wink. The entire F1 Twitter cracked up at the same!

As we not head into the race, the front row is formed by both the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, followed by the Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.
