“Very shocked at how small…”: Alex Albon’s girlfriend Lily Muni gives an unexpected reaction

With thirteen races done and only nine Grands Prix left to go for this season of Formula 1 2022, the summer break has kicked off and most of the racers are busy spending time with their family and friends back at their homes. But the F1 headlines are never-ending, thanks to the drivers’ market talks that are always taking new turns. Currently, Fernando Alonso is set to drive for Aston Martin following Sebastian Vettel’s retirement from the sport in 2023, and McLaren is on the verge of signing Oscar Piastri. Williams have announced they are roping in Alex Albon for the next season, but Nicholas Latifi‘s seat is still up for grabs.
A few days ago, Williams Racing had announced that F2 racer Logan Sargeant will be given a test seat for the team at the Austin Grand Prix, and there is high chance Sargeant might get Latifi‘s seat in the near future. But there is another person eyeing the seat beside Alex Albon in Williams–that is, Albon’s girlfriend, Lily Muni. The Chinese professional golfer posted a slew of images of her trying out the Williams racecar that her boyfriend drives during the racing season, and she also engaged in some silly banter for her fans, on her Instagram stories.

Alex Albon sat out the F1 season last year because of a lack of seat, but this time in 2022, he debuted with Williams and scored all three of the points that the British team has achieved till now in the thirteen races that have been held. As the F1 summer break is underway now, the mechanics are using this time to make changes to the car, and to try out the alterations, Alex Albon arrived at the Williams garage with his girlfriend, pro golfer Lily Muni.
While the young couple were at it, Muni tried out Albon’s car, and posted her reactions on Instagram. The Chinese 23-year-old has often been spotted by fans roaming around the F1 paddocks, hand in hand with her boyfriend, but it is the first time that she got to experience how it feels like to sit inside the cockpit of an F1 racecar.
To sound all professional and knowledgeable, Lily Muni joked about Albon’s FW44 giving her, “Too much oversteer in sector 3.” She also followed that up with her own comments, saying, “Got some work to do.” Once the trial session was over, the golfer gave her most unexpected reaction, as she posted on Instagram, saying, “Very shocked at how small @alex_albon’s butt is.”
