The 2023 Mexican GP is done and dusted with Max Verstappen once again triumphing at the event. While he has amassed a decent number of headlines, the event has also been all over the web for an ugly fight that brokeout betw een a set of people in the crowd.
During the 71-lap race, the crowd was in high spirits, especially in the stadium section where most of the drivers were cheered on by the crowd. They made a lot of noise throughout the race but the ugly fight that took place between a few people took place in the stadium section as well.

From the video, it can be seen that a guy in a white jersey came after two Ferrari fans and an ugly fight broke out between the three. Moreover, from the looks of it, some people had no option but to step in, in order to separate the individuals and put an end to the unnecessary fight. The incident caused a lot of commotion in the crowd.
Que asqueroso es esto, esta gente tiene que estar vetada, para eso era la campaña de Racepect, pero la gente prefiere “es pasión y pasa en todos los deportes” ineptos pic.twitter.com/1WEoKu8dMo

While a lot has been said about the incident, such acts should be strictly prohibited as it ruins the whole carnival atmosphere that is created during a Grand Prix event. In order to set an example, the culprits at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez Circuit should be banned from attending any future events.
The Mexico GP did go as per plan for the fans for several reasons
While the ugly fight that broke out during the Mexican Grand Prix somewhat ruined the atmosphere at the event, Sergio Perez’s lap 1 race-ending crash was most probably the one incident, where the fans went in utter shock. Most of the crowd at the track was there to cheer on Perez.

As the lights went out, Sergio Perez got off to a brilliant start and was side-by-side going into Turn1 with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. However, the former made contact with Leclerc, and the Mexican went flying into the air before getting forced to retire from the race. Perez sustained damage that was enough to put an end to his outing.
Antes que nada solo quiero darles las gracias por todo de corazón, son los mejores fans del mundo.

Hoy lo dejé todo en la pista, vi el espacio y arriesgué. No fue culpa de Charles, simplemente fue un incidente de carrera.

The 33-year-old and his die-hard fans had high hopes for him at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit, but what’s done is done and there is nothing that anyone can do about it. With Mexico out of the way, Perez has only three opportunities remaining this year to make some kind of a positive statement.
