The 2024 F1 season season will begin shortly with the first race just under a month. Multiple teams and drivers are meticulously working towards improving their form for the season and the chassis. However, amidst the preparations, Carlos Sainz takes some time off alongside his girlfriend Rebecca Donaldson.

The couple was recently spotted at an undisclosed location in Mexico ahead of the 2024 season. However, the two weren’t doing any thrilling activity or something special as the Spaniard would have to immediately return to the grid for pre-season testing. Hence, the endearing couple were presumably shopping and enjoying each other’s company as both will barely get to spend time with each other after the 2024 season is underway.

Additionally, the couple was donning regular outfits and nothing too special, indicating that they weren’t at a party. Hence, the driver enjoys some final moments with his partner before returning to the highly busy life of an F1 driver. Ferrari also prepares to reveal their 2024 challenger on 13th February, before the final testing session is underway.

Carlos Sainz will conclude his final year at Ferrari in 2024

The news of Lewis Hamilton‘s move to Ferrari in 2025 took the Spaniard aback. Hence, Sainz would be ousted from the team following the seven-time world champion’s entry. As a result, the 29-year-old would need to prove his racing prowess and potentially score great results to further enable his chances of getting back into a great team on the grid.

Hence, Sainz needs to perform at his A-game and potentially outscore Charles Leclerc to ensure that he maintains his image within the grid. The 29-year-old also deemed the 2024 season as the ‘most important season’ in his career as his performance in this season could shape his future at the pinnacle of motorsport.

As a result, the Spaniard will train very hard to defeat the Monegasque down the season. Additionally, the 29-year-old had a very close call with Leclerc until the last race of the season. Sainz definitely has great racing skills and he has proven time and again that he deserves a seat within the sport, purely due to his racing mettle.
