Charles Leclerc is one of the biggest names on the current F1 grid. The 26-year-old has been in the news recently after he signed a contract extension with Ferrari. However, the Monegasque driver seems to taking some time off with his girlfriend Alexandra Saint-Mleux in the winter break. This endearing couple was recently spotted on a jog.
Leclerc and Saint-Mleux were running through the streets of Monaco, where the two reside. Charles Leclerc was wearing a grey and black hoodie from Ferrari sponsor Puma with a pair of shorts. While Alexandra Saint-Mleux was wearing a beige hoodie and blue track pants.
Both of them were listening to music individually on their headsets. As such, the endearing couple seemed focused on their run with the two not talking to one another. Nevertheless, Charles Leclerc and his girlfriend were looking to burn some calories. Recently, Leclerc and Saint-Mleux drove a white Ferrari in Monte Carlo.
Charles Leclerc signs massive contract with Ferrari
Charles Leclerc’s contract with Scuderia Ferrari was due to expire at the end of the 2024 F1 season. The Monegasque driver decided not to indulge in the silly season as he signed an extension with Maranello straightaway. Although there has been no official confirmation regarding the exact duration of Leclerc’s new contract.
It is believed that Charles Leclerc could become the highest-paid F1 driver with this deal. However, there is a provision for an exit clause for the 26-year-old if he is unsatisfied with Ferrari’s progress. Nevertheless, Leclerc’s contract extension reinforces him as the team leader at Maranello. With Carlos Sainz yet to sign a new deal with the Scuderia.
The Monegasque driver aims to win the world title with Ferrari in the coming years. However, it could be a challenge as Maranello has yet to bridge the gap with Red Bull. Certainly, fans would be looking forward to seeing Charles Leclerc fight for race victories with the Scuderia in the upcoming season.
