Charles Leclerc needs to solidify his place as team leader at Ferrari

Charles Leclerc earned another massive contract extension from Ferrari just a couple of weeks ago. However, this news was overshadowed by Lewis Hamilton‘s announcement to join the Scuderia in 2025. Leclerc was reportedly shocked and disappointed by Ferrari’s move to sign Lewis Hamilton. The 26-year-old was unaware that the team would bring in Hamilton in 2025. As such, Charles Leclerc would need to step up and solidify his place as the team leader before the arrival of the Mercedes driver.

The Monegasque driver will need to bring in decent results for the team from the get-go and extract the most out of the car. Moreover, Charles Leclerc would need to re-establish himself within the Ferrari crew to ensure that he does not lose the team’s support once Lewis Hamilton joins Maranello next year.
