The F1 2023 season has come to an end, and the racers have all been indulging in some time away from the tracks to enjoy the company of their families and their girlfriends. While Valtteri Bottas has jetted off to Australia to join his cyclist girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell, Pierre Gasly has been spotted celebrating the 21st birthday of his beau Kika Cerqueira Gomes. On the other hand, Max Verstappen went to enjoy the Swiss Alps with Kelly Piquet and her daughter while Charles Leclerc travelled to Northern Italy for a ski trip with his partner.

Now, the Ferrari racer has recently gotten back from his trip to the Italian alps with his friends and his girlfriend Alexandra Saint-Mleux. The young couple was pictured skiing on the snow as they enjoyed the time together after a grueling season racing where Charles was the lead scorer from Scuderia Ferrari. He outscored teammate Carlos Sainz even though the Spaniard brought the Maranello squad their only Grand Prix victory of 2023. Charles finished last season with 206 points and tied with Fernando Alonso for the 5th spot on the Championship table.

Despite failing to perform more impressively for Ferrari, Charles has gotten his hands on a brand-new Ferrari 812 Competizione that reportedly costs a whopping $600,000. The Monegasque has been spotted going out and about Monaco in his new car in recent times. He even made a trip to the centre where he got a customized registration plate for the Competizione that says “C812”. And in the latest videos of Leclerc, he has been seen accompanying girlfriend Alexandra on a shopping trip in Monaco as pulled up in front of Casino Monte-Carlo in the matte white Ferrari 812 Competizione.

Felipe Massa has revealed why Ferrari keep getting defeated despite Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz’s talents

Ferrari have appointed the créme de la créme of racers over the last few years in Formula 1. They took up Sebastian Vettel, Charles Leclerc, and then Carlos Sainz to represent them at the Championship battle against their heavyweight rivals like Mercedes and Red Bull. Still, the team has not gotten a single Drivers’ Championship title victory since 2007. Felipe Massa addressed this problem and called Ferrari’s current pairing of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz as perfect. But then he pointed out the mistake Ferrari have made despite having ‘two very good drivers’.

It is clear that the problem in Maranello is definitely not the pilots Ferrari has two very good pilots who work well together. They just need a competitive car to show what level they can be in the title fight.

Felipe Massa said, via La Gazetta dello Sport.

In some bits and pieces of rumors coming out of Maranello, it has been heard that Ferrari are making some radical changes to their 2024 challenger. There will be some key differences in the weights of their 2024 car as compared to the challengers of the previous seasons. Now, it only remains to be seen if all these changes can result in a Championship-worthy car or if the next season will only be an addition to a long line of disappointing campaigns for the Maranello outfit.
