Drive to Survive‘s latest season is out. The sixth season of the Netflix docuseries provides fans with an in-depth view of the F1 paddock. Subsequently, the show allows fans to hear interesting conversations from drivers. George Russell and Lando Norris even revealed that a few drivers on the grid drink alcohol during race weekends.

The two drivers were on a private jet when Norris asked if Russell would like to go out that night. When the Mercedes driver enquired if the 24-year-old was serious, Lando Norris made it clear that he would not do such a thing.

Moreover, George Russell revealed that his Williams contract forbade him from drinking during a Grand Prix weekend, during his stay at the Grove-based team between 2019-2021.

Lando Norris reckoned that there were some drivers who indulged in drinking during F1 weekends. However, the 24-year-old refused to pinpoint any driver in particular.

Not gonna say names, but there's definitely some people who drink.

Subsequently, Russell claimed that he had even seen drivers drink alcohol in such circumstances. The Mercedes driver joked that he had been paid to not disclose the identity of said drivers. Nevertheless, it was a shocking revelation for viewers.
