Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo are the best of mates at the pinnacle of motor racing. During the past decade, they were teammates at Red Bull for some time and shared quite a few laughs. While the two are currently not on the same team, their lively friendship oozed out in ample amounts during a recent Honda Racing Thanks Day 2023 event.

The 2023 F1 season is done and dusted and the Red Bull contracted drivers were recently seen having a great time during the annual Honda Racing Thanks Day. Quite a few events were lined up during the day but one moment that stole the show, was when Daniel Ricciardo crashed into Max Verstappen during a karting race.

Everything went quite well, but Daniel decided to be a terrorist. He was literally trying to kill everyone out there!!

The Honey Badger(Ricciardo) has a well-known reputation in F1 for being a bit of a prankster. He is always seen doing cheeky things within the F1 paddock and the same was the case during the Honda Racing Thanks Day event. His quirky nature is one of the main factors that have made him a crowd favorite over the years.

Daniel Ricciardo wants to once again race alongside Max Verstappen at Red Bull

While Daniel Ricciardo has had immense fun during the recent Honda Racing Thanks Day, his main goal since returning to the pinnacle of motor racing is to get back into the Red Bull fold and secure the second seat on the team. The coveted drive is currently in the possession of Sergio Perez.

Ricciardo resigned with AlphaTauri during the 2023 F1 season for next year and is seeing his current stint with the Red Bull sister team as the perfect launching pad toward Red Bull. If the 34-year-old can do well next year, he will most probably become the favorite to secure the 2025 Red Bull drive.

However, it is not going to be easy as there are quite a few contenders in line for the 2025 Red Bull F1 seat. The lights of Yuki Tsunoda, Sergio Perez, and a few others are also in the running for the seat and all would depend on how the above-mentioned drivers would perform during the 2024 campaign.
