With the 2023 F1 season done and dusted, the sport is currently at a halt and the drivers have kept themselves busy by indulging in various kinds of activities. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have also been on the same track and with Christmas just around the corner, the duo has named their favorite Christmas movie.
Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have been competing as teammates for Red Bull since 2021, they have had their ups and downs in the past, but after spending three years together, they have finally started developing a strong bond that is very evident whenever they are together on and off the racing track.
In a recent Red Bull podcast, the duo was asked to name their favorite Christmas movie and the conversation went like this:
Max: I like Home Alone.
Sergio: I'm missing the translation
Max: Is it an English movie?
Sergio: Yes, it's an English movie.
After a bit of back and forth, it turns out Perez’s favorite Christmas movie is also Home Alone. Looking at the hilarious conversation, it is quite evident that both Verstappen and Perez are fond of the iconic Home Alone movie. It is a classic film that has been around since the 1990s and has so far come out with quite a few of its amazing sequels.
Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez did well in 2023
While Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are enjoying the ongoing F1 winter break, they to their credit, managed to do their jobs well during the 2023 F1 season. Verstappen was at his usual best throughout the campaign whereas Perez, despite his struggles, was able to end the season in second place.
The Mexican driver was in the running for the world championship after the initial few rounds, but from Miami onward, things went south for him in horrendous fashion. He struggled with confidence behind the wheel of the RB19 and was getting blasted from all angles for his timid performances.
However, at the end of it all, Sergio Perez was able to get his act together to finish behind Max Verstappen in the Driver’s Championship. The 2024 F1 season holds immense significance for Perez for various reasons and considering this, several eyes will be on his exploits.
