Watch: “I like to do my talking on the track,” Lewis Hamilton responds to Jimmy Kimmel’s question on whether he believes he is the greatest F1 driver in history

Lewis Hamilton, the former 7-time F1 World Champion, was recently seen on the hot seat of the Jimmy Kimmel show where he was asked whether he thinks he is the greatest F1 driver in the sport’s history.
Lewis Hamilton graced the show with his presence ahead of the United States Grand Prix and talked in detail about all the curve balls that were thrown his way by Jimmy Kimmel.
Moreover, during a segment of the show, Kimmel asked the Brit whether he feels that he is the greatest driver in F1’s history, and as a response to the query, Hamilton said, “You know what, I know what I am, how good I am. But I don’t really like to talk about it. I like to do the talking on the track. That’s what my dad always said when I was a kid.“
“When we were racing, we were on the receiving end of, there’s a lot of this discrimination because we were the only people of color on the racing track, my dad said just do your talking on the racing track, so today I don’t feel like I need to say it.”
Sir Lewis Hamilton has got three races left to secure his first win of 2022
Lewis Hamilton, during the current campaign, does not have a package under him that is able to challenge for race wins, and because of this reason, he hasn’t been able to become a nuisance for the front runners.
However, despite having lesser machinery, the 37-year-old has managed to score quite a decent number of podium finishes for the Brackley-based team and during the recently concluded United States Grand Prix, he came extremely close to winning the race.
The Silver Arrows brought an updated package to the Circuit of the Americas and it worked well for the whole duration of the race without any unnecessary problems.
Moreover, considering that Hamiton came close to clinching his first win of 2022 at Austin, he is going to be highly motivated going into the remaining three rounds of the current campaign.
The Mexican Grand Prix is just around the corner and Hamilton and Co. are once again going to try and give their absolute everything in an attempt to secure the first victory of 2022 for the reigning Constructors Champions.
