The 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend is just around the corner, and ahead of the marquee event, the Formula 1 drivers have been making appearances left, right, and center. Recently, Esteban Ocon and Charles Leclerc attended an NBA game where they met the legend Lebron James.

The NBA event was a big show with Esteban Ocon and Charles Leclerc on the sidelines. Lebron James on the Court with the Lakers against Portland added more flair. However, the trio’s meeting ended on an embarrassing note for Leclerc. Ocon presented Lebron James with his helmet when they met, and Leclerc was left red-faced.

From the video below, it can be seen that the Ferrari driver felt a bit embarrassed when Esteban Ocon brought out his racing helmet in front of Lebron James. The trio’s interaction went like this:

Looking at the comments of the Monegasque driver, it is quite clear that he really regretted not bringing his helmet to the event. However, he did make Lebron known that he was not aware that he was going to meet him. Otherwise, he definitely would have brought the racing helmet.

Charles Leclerc has got a lot of fans in America

While Charles Leclerc was left red-faced in his interaction with King James, the Monegasque, overall, has a huge fan following in the United States of America. Moreover, with the pinnacle of motor racing in town, his fans have been scrambling just to get a glimpse of him.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend is going to kick off in a few days, and Leclerc is most definitely going to be the one driver who pulls a decent crowd toward him. He is one of the most recognized drivers among the current F1 drivers, and will see a lot of support for him during the three-day carnival.

Considering everything that has been discussed above, Charles Leclerc would be eager to make the upcoming event a memorable one for himself and also for his die-hard fans. Leclerc, at the least, would be eying a podium finish at the inaugural 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
