Max Verstappen the current Drivers Championship leader has been over the moon since his triumph in Azerbaijan yesterday and after the race, the Dutchman was seen enjoying his victory by dancing with his girlfriend Kelly Piquet.

kelly Piquet via her Instagram handle has shared a video of the two dancing together and making the most of the limited time that the duo is able to stay together because of Verstappen’s Red Bull commitments. To make the moment memorable Piquet, wrote, “I’ll dance away my life with you.”

Max Verstappen has been in serious form during the current season and after yesterday’s victory, Verstappen has now got 5 race wins to his name in the 8 Grand Prix that have taken place in the 2022 season.

The Dutchman is very well known for his exhilarating driving style all over the world but this year it seems he has taken his game to the next level, one of the reasons behind this is the Champion tag that he is carrying this season on his shoulders.

Max Verstappen intends to focus on other things than racing after his Formula 1 career.

Max Verstappen going into Azerbaijan weekend was only 9 points ahead of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc whereas his teammate Perez was in third with 110 points to his name.

However, after Ferrari’s double DNF in Azerbaijan, the Dutchman has now made a significant gap between himself and Sergio Perez who overtook Leclerc after his P2 finish.

As things stand Verstappen is leading the Drivers Championship with 150 points to his name whereas his teammate Perez is on 129 points. The young Dutchman is now 21 points ahead and during the coming Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix the driver is going to look to build on his current lead.

However, this is easier said than done as after the disappointment of Baku, the Ferrari duo of Leclerc and Sainz are going to be highly motivated to right the wrong and make a statement during the Canadian GP.

The Maranello-based team is going to do everything in their power to get a solid result in the upcoming race and it will be interesting to see how Verstappen would handle the Ferrari challenge in Canada.
