The Formula 1 2023 season has officially ended and all the drivers have travelled home or to wherever their loved ones are to spend some quality time off the race tracks. For F1 2023 Championship winner Max Verstappen, this means going to Brazil with girlfriend Kelly Piquet and her daughter Penelope to attend the wedding of one of Nelson Piquet Sr’s sons, Pedro Piquet. Pedro got married to artist Bella Salvati right after the F1 season ended, and thus Kelly and Max both attended the festivities.
Unfortunately, a dramatic event occured during the last moments of Kelly’s half-brother’s wedding when she did not catch the wedding bouquet that the new bride tossed into the air. According to Christian norms, whoever catches the bouquet would be next in line for marriage. And it would have made perfect sense if Kelly held the token since she has been dating Max Verstappen for three years and fans expected the couple to get married soon.
But Max Verstappen was seen celebrating the fact that Kelly Piquet did not catch the wedding bouquet. This video went viral on social media, and even caught the attention of the Dutchman’s girlfriend herself. She quickly took to Instagram to reply to one of those fans who were making fun of her own boyfriend celebrating the fact that they would not have to get married since Kelly Piquet did not catch a wedding bouquet.

Kelly Piquet and Max Verstappen’s winters seem to be all set as the Vogue cover model recently shared some photos on her Instagram stories. The Brazilian posts quite frequently to update her fans about whatever goes on in her life, and as per the looks of it, she is on her way to the mountains for a 2 week-long trip with her daughter and her boyfriend.
Taking to her Instagram, Kelly posted an adorable photo of Penelope in her white fleece coat. She was hugging her soft toy as she posed in front of the airport. Kelly followed the photo up with another snap. It showed her impressive wardrobe that is all packed. She captioned her story update too.

In other news, Kelly Piquet’s boyfriend Max Verstappen made the news because of an incident that happened on his recent holiday in Portugal. As per the reports, he wanted to hire the Mercedes AMG GT for a ride, but was deemed ‘too young’ to be allowed as the insurance company only let’s entities who are over 30 years to hire the impressive car.
