Dutch driver Max Verstappen is spending some quality time with his girlfriend Kelly Piquet and her daughter Penelope ahead of the 2024 season of Formula 1. After a retreat to the pool alongside them, Piquet shares clips of the three enjoying the off-time at an undisclosed snowy location.
The reel shared by Piquet on her Instagram showcases images and videos from the winter getaway. The reel contains clips of the three skiing in the hills covered with snow. Additionally, there is also a clip of the couple enjoying a party in a similar location during the winter break. The reel is captioned ‘Life is about the memories you make’ indicating the lovely time spent by the three during the off-season.
Although the Dutchman isn’t very comfortable sharing his private life on Instagram, Kelly Piquet’s reel displays just enough to give the fans an idea about the romantic getaway for the three. Piquet also made an exclusive post sharing images of the trip with the fans, including Verstappen in the first image. This snowy vacation was something different from their previous vacation in the pool.

Max Verstappen is a driver who doesn’t believe much in sharing every detail about his life on social media. Hence, the Dutchman asserted that his private life is indeed private and does not need to be known by everyone on Social media. This was the reason behind the lack of following for Verstappen on his pages. The 26-year-old is only active on YouTube and Twitch while streaming games on his rig.
Additionally, the three-time world champion had insinuated that there was more to life than just Formula 1. Moreover, Verstappen did not want to know every little detail happening in the paddock, especially when he was at home during the off time. As a result, the Dutchman followed only a few athlete and sports pages and not many pages regarding Formula 1 on his social media pages.
This also showcased the mentality difference between the 26-year-old from his peers on the paddock who are actively present on social media sites during the off-season. Hence, Verstappen prepares to potentially replicate this season’s performance in the upcoming season with Red Bull.
