With every passing day, Formula One is becoming bigger and more widely popular than it was before. The sport that originated in the 1900s has gone global now by shedding off its earlier image of being an elite entertainment option for the rich and the privileged European Whites. Now, F1 is a household name in most countries of Europe and Asia, and it is slowly expanding its operations in the US too. And as the reigning Formula 1 World Champion, Max Verstappen has also seen his fame shoot into the sky in the recent years.

As an insanely popular racing superstar, Max Verstappen has been noted to frequently meet the stalwarts of other sports. He was pictured receiving the award for pole position at the Monaco GP last year from tennis star Maria Sharapova. And he also posed for pictures with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal at the United States GP in Texas a few years back.

But, to the woe of most F1 fans who are also into football, Max Verstappen has never had a run-in with the biggest star in the field of football–Cristiano Ronaldo. But the Dutchman did end up mentioning a myth about the Portuguese hunk that went viral on social media. It is a well-known fact that Ronaldo does not have any tattoos unlike most football players, and one of the rumors about the reason behind this is that he opted for donating blood, which he could not do had he gotten some tattoos.

Max Verstappen recently talked about aiming for a 4th World Championship win in 2024

Ever since 2021, Max Verstappen has enjoyed a dominance in Formula 1 that very few legendary racers before him had. At only 26 years of age, the Dutchman has established himself as a force to reckon with by earning three consecutive World Championships in the last three years. Such has been Max’s dominance that he won 19 of the 22 Grands Prix which were held in the 2023 season of F1.

With a Championship hat-trick under his belt, one might presume Max Verstappen would let go off the competition now since life of an F1 racer is never easy. But the Dutch lion has confirmed he does not want to stop here as he will be eyeing a fourth F1 World title next season. And, if he manages to achieve it, Verstappen will have equal number of Championship titles as the Red Bull legend Sebastian Vettel.

In other news, Max Verstappen has belted out the tunes to Rihanna’s popular song ‘Diamonds’ in one of his recent Twitch sessions. Due to the ongoing off-season, he decided to deliver his fans with streaming sessions of his gameplay as he tried his hands at the F1 video game. And as Max Verstappen often interacts with the fans, he could hardly put down the request of one of them as he decided to sing along the lines of ‘Diamonds’.
