At only 26 years of age, Max Verstappen has achieved some of the feats that fans would have thought impossible at his age. The Dutchman catapulted to success in Red Bull ever since his debut year with them, and currently holds three World Championship titles in Formula 1. As the son of former F1 racer Jos Verstappen, Max has only taken the legacy of his family forward as he successfully demolished Lewis Hamilton’s reign in the pinnacle of motorsports in 2021.
Owing to all of Max Verstappen‘s achievements, he might come off as a ruthlessly competitive person who drives at thunderous speeds to get the top spot in the grid. But when he is off the tracks, Max is a loving pet parent to two beautiful Bengal cats–whom he had once decided to nickname after his Mercedes rivals Lewis and Toto. But in reality, one of Max Verstappen’s cats is called Jimmy, and the other is called Sassy.
In a recent post by Red Bull Racing, Max Verstappen was spotted lounging on a chair in his team clothes when someone asked about his wishes to adopt more pets. He quipped up at the idea but immediately deflated thinking of all the pampering those numerous pets would need.
Well, I mean, I would like 100 cats. But, then you also have to take care of them, so…Max Verstappen said about adopting more pets, via Red Bull Racing’s X handle.

Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet have bagpacked to Switzerland for the winter holidays
Max Verstappen and his Brazilian model girlfriend Kelly Piquet are going strong as of now. The two have been inseparable ever since the F1 2023 season ended, and were spotted together on multiple occasions alongwith Kelly’s daughter Penelope Kvyat. They even visited Kelly’s half brother Pedro Piquet’s wedding in Brazil only days after the F1 season finale in Abu Dhabi. There, Penelope was spotted doing her flower girl duties.
In her most recent posts on Instagram, Kelly Piquet has updated her fans as to where she is traveling now. And it seems, the trip of Verstappen, Piquet and Penelope have decided to tour Switzerland to enjoy the last few days of 2023. Kelly even posted a picture of her fully stocked wardrobe as she captioned the image saying that she is ready for spending two months in the mountains.
On the other hand, Max Verstappen’s Boss at Red Bull, Christian Horner, is currently in celebratory mood as the Briton has been awarded the CBE honor by the British royalty. CBE or Commander of the British Empire is an exemplary honor which was awarded to Horner for his contributions to motorsports as Red Bull has now won multiple World Constructors’ Championships under his reign, both during the Sebastian Vettel era as well as the current Max Verstappen era.
