The Formula 1 2023 season ended with a brilliant win for Red Bull as the Austrian outfit took their second consecutive Constructors’ Championship. And the most crucial player who made sure Red Bull got the title victory is none other than their marqueé driver Max Verstappen. The Dutchman delivered a never-before-seen performance by winning 19 out of the 22 Grands Prix which were held last year. He scripted history by becoming a third-time World Champion as he silenced all his heavyweight opponents like Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez and achieved an F1 Champion’s title hattrick.

But as the season break is currently going on, Max Verstappen has decided to take up virtual driving as he cannot take to the racetracks now. On his Twitch channel, the 26-year-old is frequently found streaming his racing sessions from his residence in Monaco. And since he often apparently forgets to lock the door when he is streaming, he gets some cameos from Penelope, the daughter of his girlfriend Kelly Piquet, as well as his cats who wander into the room to grab Max’s attention.

During one of his latest Twitch streams, one of Max Verstappen’s cats made an appearance on the screen and the clip was quickly posted on social media. And fans were amazed with the beautiful Bengal cat as they caught a brief glimpse of it in the background. It is already known that Max has two cats–Jimmy and Sassy, but it is not known which one of them made the visit to Max’s gameroom during the Twitch stream.

While his opponent from Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton, is known for having a pet dog, Roscoe, Max Verstappen is famous for being a proud cat dad. The Dutchman has even shared some crazy stories such as the one where he had to break into the wall of his house to rescue his cat. Max has also shared that he would love to adopt even more cats. When he was asked to give a number of how many pet felines he would like to have, he did not even hesitate before saying, “100!”

But Max Verstappen quickly said that even thought he wants 100 cats as his pets, he is wary of the amount of care they would need. The three-time F1 World Champion is always busy moving to exotic locations around the world for the Grands Prix which are held in different continents and different countries. Thus, it is obvious that he would never be able to take care of so many pets by cleaning up after them and feeding them since he has a full-time job at Red Bull that he needs to attend to. But, once Max retires later on in his life, it remains to be seen if he does end up adopting a lot more cats.
