“We all do mistakes,” Sebastian Vettel foresees Max Verstappen to cut down on the errors with experience
Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel
Max Verstappen has a firm grasp on the driver’s championship but that doesn’t mean that the reigning world champion has had a flawless season. The Dutchman has struggled in qualifying which has made his job harder going into race day. It seems like that he still has a level to go to so that he is able to dominant throughout the length of a season like we saw in the case of Sebastian Vettel with Red Bull.
We can’t say that Max Verstappen hasn’t matured from last season and Monaco was a clear example of that. It’s been well document that Max is as aggressive as it comes in F1. Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel even agreed to the fact that they both give treat the Dutchman differently on the track to avoid any sort of contact. But, it seems like the 2.0 version of Max, which is definitely channelizing his aggression.
The Dutchman definitely didn’t have the speed to compete with Charles Leclerc in Monaco due tp F1-75’s superior qualities on the slower corners. Max was wary of the fact and bided his time to register an unlikely podium. He didn’t go for any late lunge like in 2021 against Lewis Hamilton, which could have possibly been fatal for him in the longer run. There definitely has been improvement but still a long way to go.

Sebastian Vettel backs Max Verstappen to get better with experience in F1
Sebastian Vettel believes if Max can cut down on the mistakes and Ferrari sort out Charles Leclerc’s issues, it could become be very interesting.
The 4 time world champion talking about Max Verstappen, said, “Max has had some mistakes, but I think we all do mistakes not necessarily related to the fact that you’re so young. Those guys have been around no for a while it’s not all new to them”
He also shared his opinion on Charles Leclerc saying, “I think there’s lots of drivers in F1 that have a lot of talent obviously and Charles is one of them.”
“He’s in a good car and he deserves to be. So hopefully the car will be good enough for him to fight for the title this year,” as reported by gpblog.
Max Verstappen definitely has the talent to rewrite the history books but talent has never been enough in F1. He has work on other aspects to become a complete driver and fulfill his immense potential.
