The crane incident at Suzuka has got the world stating their opinion about it and the majority of the masses, just like Sebastian Vettel, have bashed F1 and the administration at the circuit for the unfortunate incident.
Moreover, Vettel has stressed that in his opinion, F1 has forgotten what happened to Jules Bianchi several years ago at the same corner where the crane was on the circuit.
Most of the F1 drivers are distraught about what happened at Suzuka and Pierre Gasly has shown strong emotion as he was in the firing line when the crane was on the track. Due to poor visibility, he could have crashed into the recovery vehicle.

Moreover, Pierre Gasly was seen shouting on his team radio as to why the recovery vehicle was on track, and he was 100 percent right in doing so as there is no excuse for what happened.
Sebastian Vettel’s take on the crane incident of the Japanese GP

Sebastian Vettel, in his long F1 career, has seen almost everything that there is to see in the sport, and while talking about the crane incident, said, “After what happened, there’s a lot of things that led to this circumstance which we need to understand first.”
“Visibility is close to none when you’re inside the car following with a spray. We’re lucky that nothing happened but we need to understand and make sure that it just mustn’t happen.”
Sebastian Vettel has clearly indicated that FIA needs to look at the safety of the drivers better, and going into the future years of the sport, they must make sure that incidents like the Japanese GP must not happen again.

The 35-year-old is saying goodbye to the sport at the end of the current campaign, and considering what he has said about driver safety in F1, the higher authorities should take his words seriously and try to make the sport as safe as possible for the drivers.
