Lewis Hamilton discontinues all the talks about his retirement ahead of Sebastian Vettel’s retirement announcement. Lewis openly revealed his plans to get himself and his team back on the winning ways and will continue to try ahead of the 2022 season. Hamilton also suggested Fernando Alonso to probably retire before the Mercedes Driver.

Sebastian Vettel on Thursday created an Instagram account through which he revealed his plans to stop the sport. Being a great friend and a decent rival to Lewis Hamilton, the duo stood on the podium for about 56 times throughout their career. That is the most for a pair to get a podium on the same occasion.

Vettel still has 9 races left to try and for another race win for his career. Hamilton is looking for his first win in the 2022 season, both the drivers will try and give their best in the last few races together. Lewis will stick with Mercedes for yet another season and try his best to fight for a few more wins, he has yet not opened up a space to end a remarkable career.

“It has not made me think about that because I am thinking about how I can improve this car, what the next step is we need to get this team winning again, what is the road map to winning another world championship, “ Lewis Hamilton optimistically revealed it to Evening Standard.

Fernando Alonso turned 41 today, the 29th of July. The older man still has the energy to get himself inside the car and has the spirit to fight for the wins. But Hamilton is still 4 years younger than the Alpine driver and mentions a possibility for the 41-year-old to retire.

“Before you know it, Fernando [Alonso] will not be there and then who is after that? I will be the oldest I guess,” Hamilton said.

Lewis Hamilton has been struggling with his car this time but will keep the spirit to fight and break the ultimate record of the most championships. Alonso on the other hand has opened up to stay with Alpine for another two years in his contract.
