Yuki Tsunoda with his colleagues, Sebastian Vettel and Kevin Magnussen expressed their disappointment toward the new directors lacking the experience that Micheal Masi once used to roam around with. With questionable decisions made by the new directors, it has been marked by Yuki Tsunoda’s comments the decision Masi used to make was his excellence developed over the years.

Yuki was furious about the penalty showering over everyone isn’t something Masi used to do before he was fired at the start of the season. Sebastian agreed with what the Japanese said and mentioned the errors and confusion the new director, Eduardo Freitas, has been on track, and so does Kevin Magnussen.

“What we’re missing now is the experience that Michael [Masi] brought to the track because he’s done it for so long and grew up with it,” Seb says according to the Independent.

Kevin Magnussen also agreed with the lack of perfect decisions new race directors have been giving out lately. He also believes in the difference Masi and the new race directors have in general. He also called out the difficulties they have created in bending the rules as they want. He also believes in the downfall of the decision making body after Masi exited the sport.

Recently a controversial protest aroused among the top teams when Ferrari started a protest against the Red Bull driver Max Verstappen on crossing the white line after exiting the pit lane in Monaco. Later the decision was taken to reject the protest with no penalty handling. This was seen as a fall of a proper decision by many fans.
