This weekend will see the third-last round of racing for the current Formula One 2022 season during the United States GP the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. While the Drivers’ World Championship title has already been conferred upon Max Verstappen after he outscored the his closest competitor Charles Leclerc at the tumultuous Japanese Grand Prix, the fight for the second place in the points table is still going strong as only one point separates Sergio Perez and Leclerc.

Besides the Drivers’ titles, the Constructors’ Championship has also gotten the fans excited for the upcoming United States GP. With a lead of 165 points over Ferrari, Red Bull is nearing its first World Championship title since 2013, and there is a chance that Christian Horner will return home with the much-coveted-for golden trophy at the end of the United States GP.

The events of the weekend will be spread across three days–Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the entire programme will be broadcast to various countries all around the world via SkySports and its partners.

When to watch the United States GP?

As per the official timings released by the Formula 1 website, the United States Grand Prix will take place from 22nd October to 24th October, with the Main Race taking place on the last day of the weekend. On Friday, there will be a set of Free Practices, and fans will witness the Qualifying on Saturday. Sunday is reserved for the Main Race, followed by a concert which will be graced by Ed Sheeran and other big names in the American pop/rock industry.

For viewers hailing from the UK, the United States GP will be available for viewing live on the SkySports F1 channel, and the highlights will also be shown on Channel 4 a few hours after the Main Race gets over. The highlights for the FP sessions, Qualifying, and the Main Race are also posted on the official YouTube page of Formula 1.

For fans from the United States, ESPN will be showing the event live and in Canada, TSPN will give you the English commentary for the race while RDS will give you a rundown of the race in French.
