F1 has over the years, seen several former drivers take on the mantle of being a pundit in the sport. From Jenson Button to Nico Rosberg, plenty of former drivers have done and are still doing a great job behind a microphone. David Coulthard who has also done a bit of punditry, has revealed two names on the current driver grid who could become F1 pundits.
The first name that he ardently feels has the personality to become a future F1 pundit is that of the honey badger, Daniel Ricciardo. David Coulthard believes that the entertainment factor that Ricciardo brings, he would perfectly fit into the role of an F1 pundit.
However, the second name is sure to surprise many.
Daniel Ricciardo, for sure, [can be a good F1 pundit] because he is just entertaining smiling, for sure. I don't think Max [Verstappen] would be interested. I'm not sure Lewis [Hamilton] would. I think Daniel has such a big personality. Maybe even Yuki [Tsunoda] because you would be betting on when he would use the first swear word.David Coulthard said, via Express.co.uk.
Looking at the reaction of the Brit, it seems that Yuki Tsunoda could also be seen behind a microphone somewhere down the line. Tsunoda has a well-known reputation for dropping the F-bomb every now and then, and this is what Coulthard has banked on to provide the entertainment factor.
Daniel Ricciardo has always been an entertainer in F1
While David Coulthard has surprised many by deeming Yuki Tsunoda as a good fit for a pundit role, his first choice is on point! Daniel Ricciardo has always been an entertainer at the pinnacle of motor racing. Be it on the track with his mesmerizing moves or behind a microphone while giving interviews.
Ricciardo has always been a fan favorite and has a special way of playing with words that often attract people towards him. However, if he ever decides to take on the mantle of doing some punditry, one thing is for sure, he is going to cost a lot of money to whoever decides to bring him on board.

Daniel Ricciardo had lost his spark during his tough McLaren stint but since getting out of that environment, he is back to his lively best. While he would fit a pundit role perfectly, he currently has some unfinished business left doing his trade as an F1 racing driver.
