The current f1 champion Max Verstappen offered a glimpse into his sporting preferences, naming his favorite team in the premier league. He also disclosed his relationship with Virgil van Dijk and the other players of the Liverpool team. Ahead of the British Grand Prix, the two-time world champion revealed his support for Manchester United.
Max Verstappen confessed to talkSPORT ahead of this weekend’s grand prix that he is a United fan but clarified that he is not overly passionate. He mentioned his interactions with Virgil van Dijk, a Dutch center-back for Liverpool. This indicates that Verstappen’s football interests extend beyond just supporting Manchester United.
I'm a United fan. It's not like I'm a die-hard United fan. I mean, I'm talking to Virgil [van Dijk] and Liverpool players. I enjoy it when I see a great football match, and I think the Premier League is the best league out there.Max Verstappen revealed in the interview.
Max Verstappen acknowledges Manchester City’s excessive success, comparing it to Red Bull’s dominance
Red Bull has won all nine races this season leading up to the upcoming British Grand Prix. Max Verstappen holds a significant 81-point advantage over his teammate Sergio Perez. Verstappen has claimed victory in the last five events. If Red Bull should look at Silverstone, they will equal McLaren’s record of 11 consecutive wins set in 1988.

Max Verstappen shared his perspective, noting that, in his opinion, Manchester City’s winning streak is slightly excessive. However, he made an intriguing comparison, stating that he could say the same about his team, Red Bull. Verstappen emphasized the importance of other groups raising their performance levels, suggesting they must step up their game to challenge the current dominance.
I think Man City are winning a little bit too much, but then again, I can say the same thing about us [Red Bull]. The other teams need to get better.Max Verstappen said.
Heading into the British Grand Prix, Red Bull is 199 points in the lead of the constructors’ championship ahead of Aston Martin. Max Verstappen being the most dominant racer in the team, is now 81 points ahead of teammate Sergio Perez. Despite incurring a bad lack in consecutive races at Silverstone, Verstappen and Red Bull will be looking to end that streak this weekend.
