Christian Horner
The Red Bull team has been in great form this season and their team Principal Christian Horner has recently given an update about the upgrades that the team might be looking to bring in the upcoming races and has indicated that the Milton-based team is not going to bring any major upgrades on the RB18 at least until the summer break.
Red Bull has been on song as a team this season and is currently on top of both the Championships and further, they have also managed to win 7 races out of the first 9 rounds of the 2022 F1 season.
The works team at Red Bull has been very well this season and the upgrades that they have brought so far have all worked nicely on the RB18. On the back of it, Christian Horner has indicated that they will not bring any new upgrades for the next four races of the season.
The team has been so on point with their upgrades this season that a team like Ferrari through their technical engineers has also admitted to bringing RedBull-influenced rear wing design for the Canadian Grand Prix.

Christian Horner has got two in-form drivers this season
Red Bull has been the team to beat this season and while on one hand, the team at the factory has done a magnificent job in building a Championship-worthy car, on the other hand, they have got two potent drivers in Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.
The combination of new upgrades and their drivers has worked beautifully for Christian Horner’s Red Bull as both Max and Sergio have been able to push the RB18 to the limit and have extracted everything out of it.
The team is comfortably ahead in both the championships at the moment and this could be one of the reasons why Red Bull feels that they don’t need to bring any major upgrades for the last four races till summer break.
Ferrari being the chasing team has got all the work to do and Christian Horner and Co. can afford to just see how the next couple of races pan-out for the team and then take it from there.
Will Red Bull’s plan of not bringing any major upgrades till summer break cost them in the two Championships?
