Yuki Tsunoda, the Japanese driver, has been competing at the pinnacle of motor racing since the start of the 2021 F1 season. He has been with the AlphaTauri F1 team from the beginning and during this year, he wants to prove once and for all that he is a top-notch quality F1 driver.
Yuki Tsunoda has always been a fascinating case in F1, while he has produced good performances every now and then, he has so far just not been able to cement himself as a proper F1 driver. Tsunoda has always been prone to committing silly mistakes during intense grand prix moments.
However, despite all this, he is determined to change his reputation in the sport during the upcoming campaign and while talking about it, he recently said, as reported by LWOS;
Last year, I was able to take a step forward in terms of discovering my value as a driver. Furthermore, I think the car will be better this year, and I think we will have more opportunities to compete in the top 10. I think this will be the year I prove that I have what it takes to be a top F1 driver.

Looking at the reaction of the pocket-size dynamo, it is quite clear that he means serious business during the 2024 F1 season. He ardently feels that AlphaTauri’s car will be potent this year and will provide him with the opportunity to show what he can do behind the wheel on an F1 car.
Yuki Tsunoda could come in the Red Bull picture for 2025
While Yuki Tsunoda has oozed immense optimism regarding the upcoming campaign, he could become a real contender for the 2025 Red Bull seat if he manages to put in a stellar season. There is no reason as to why Christian Horner and Co. won’t consider him for the coveted seat.
In the past, several drivers have made the switch from AlphaTauri(Red Bulls-sister-team) to Red Bull, and if Tsunoda manages to put in consistent performances and somehow keep his teammate, Daniel Ricciardo at bay, then he will become a solid contender for the 2025 seat.

However, it is not going to be like a walk in the park for Yuki Tsunoda during the 2024 F1 season, Ricciardo is no slouch behind the wheel of an F1 car and has all the necessary skills in his arsenal. Considering this, several people will have their eyes on how the AlphaTauri duo will perform this year.
