Charles Leclerc shocked Oscar Piastri's mother Nicole Piastri after claiming that he would adopt the McLaren driver.

Following the conclusion of the Emilia Romagna GP, Oscar Piastri found himself on a quest to find Monegasque roots in his family tree ahead of the Monaco GP. The McLaren driver has offered insights into his family heritage in the past month claiming the Chinese and Emilia-Romagna GP as his 1/16th and 3/16th home GP respectively.
This led to the only driver from the principality, Charles Leclerc lending a helping hand and offering to adopt the 23 year old so as to aid in his search. As the 26-year-old was ready to adopt the McLaren driver.

Nicole Piastri, Oscar Piastri‘s mother known for her cheeky sense of humour on X, showcased her witty side in a yet another post on the platform. This time, calling out the 26 year old Monegasque driver, for his advances in trying to adopt her son.

Oscar Piastri ‘very happy’ after impressive Emilia Romagna GP weekend
Sunday at the Emilia Romagna GP deemed to be great for McLaren. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri crossed the finish line in P2 and P4 respectively. The Woking-based found itself armed with new upgrades ahead of the Miami GP. This placed the team as a real contender for wins and podiums against Red Bull. It also led to Lando Norris’ maiden win in the sport.

Oscar Piastri found himself on the receiving end of the full updates following the Grand Prix at Imola which lead to the Australian being content with the car and results achieved. The 23 year old mentioned the results be the best they could achieve at the track.
I think that was the most we could have got out of the race, so for me personally, I'm very happy - I feel like I've built a bit of good momentum in the last two weekends, which is something I've been trying to aim for a bit more.Oscar Piastri added
Piastri seems to have gained confident with the MCL38. The Australian driver would be looking to finally fight for wins in the coming races.
