I think it is somewhat natural for me but it's also been a conscious effort. I know I come across as very calm but I'm not a robot. I do have peaks and troughs. I would say it's maybe taking less effort than it does for some others, but everyone is different.

The 23-year-old further went on to add the following.

Some people perform at their best when they're in a bit of red mist, others perform when they're as relaxed as they can be.

Piastri is one of the less experienced drivers on the current grid.

I definitely recognize how lucky and how fortunate I am to have made this work, because there are hundreds, if not thousands, that try and it doesn't work out. And there are tens of thousands probably that don't even really have the opportunity to try.

The 2024 season is 13 rounds down and Oscar Piastri has so far amassed 149 points in the Driver’s Championship. He is currently in fifth place in the standings but keeping in view the performance he put in around the Hungaroring, he could prove himself as one of the top contenders for a top-three finish somewhere down the season. He has put the lights of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz on notice.
