Lewis Hamilton seems all ready to join Ferrari in the 2025 season and get up to speed from the get-go. The Briton is expected to take the Italian constructor back to their championship-winning days in the coming season. Hence, ahead of Hamilton’s entry, the Vice President of Ferrari, Piero Ferrari banked high hopes on the 40-year-old.
Lewis Hamilton‘s ‘elastic’ testing schedule with Ferrari would enable him to gain crucial information about the chassis’ performance. Maranello’s upturning performance in the 2024 season is already a highly motivating factor for Hamilton ahead of his debut. As a result, Piero Ferrari reckoned that he was ‘optimistic’ about the team’s championship chances if the testing went well in January.

With Leclerc, they make a good couple. We’ve known Lewis for a long time. He is our customer; he likes Ferraris. We saw each other in the past when he happened to go to the factory to choose the details of the machines he bought.
