$6 billion worth sports giant welcomes Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari arrival

Lewis Hamilton‘s Ferrari entry is reportedly supported by multiple major sponsors. The Briton’s exit from Mercedes caused a few to jump ship as well, following the seven-time world champion. Hence, amidst Hamilton’s first visit to the Maranello factory, Ferrari’s old-time sponsor Puma welcomed the 40-year-old on Instagram.
Lewis Hamilton was reported to take major brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, and many others to Ferrari following his switch in teams. The Italian constructor also announced multiple other new sponsors due to the Briton’s entry. Ahead of the commencement of the 2025 season, Puma took to Instagram and welcomed Hamilton in a heartwarming manner.
Puma uploaded an image of Hamilton’s first visit to Maranello backed with Enzo Ferrari-designed Ferrari F40. The sporting brand worth over $6 Billion captioned the image and welcomed the 40-year-old. The caption read that the 2025 season finally began with the Briton visiting the factory. Moreover, Puma called the veteran ‘sir’, acknowledging his knighthood back in 2022.
Lewis Hamilton excited to start a ‘new era’ as a Ferrari driver
Lewis Hamilton’s first visit to Maranello has already happened with him donning a highly fashionable outfit. Following the visit, Hamilton paid his due diligence to Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna and others responsible for his move to the team. Moreover, the 40-year-old added that he was excited to begin a new era as a Ferrari driver in Formula 1 and race for the Reds. The seven-time world champion claimed that he was also dedicated to delivering great performance for the team and the organization.
Ferrari’s 2025 season looks highly exciting and interesting for the Tifosi around the world following Hamilton’s entry. Time will tell about how the Briton fares against Charles Leclerc at the Italian constructor. The team has high hopes banked on the 40-year-old to take them back to their championship-winning days in Formula 1.
