VisaCashAppRB (or simply RB) has continued to undergo massive changes in the squad over the past couple of years. The team went through multiple drivers and now seems ready to start the 2025 season with Yuki Tsunoda and Isack Hadjar. However, the team recently cut ties with a massive sponsor which might cause problems for the team.

The Polish petroleum company Orlen having a worth of over $58 Billion was a major sponsor of the RB team since the 2023 season. The chassis showcased the company name in massive font on the rear wing. The company was related to Formula 1 for several years before deeming a complete exit from the sport after RB. Orlen was also known as the lead sponsor of the Ex-F1 driver Robert Kubica in the past.

Ahead of the commencement of the 2025 season, Orlen has decided to cut ties with RB. The Polish giant decided to use the sponsorship funds to help educate the younger generation of drivers in motorsports. As a result, newer drivers might be visible in junior categories soon, especially due to Orlen’s massive ambitions towards uplifting them.

Bayer revealed how every millisecond in Formula 1 mattered as the teams continued to push the boundaries of performances. Hence, having the American giant as a technology partner would help the team find great insights into gaining insights for performance gain in the challenger.

In F1, every millisecond matters. Having Dynatrace on board gives us an edge by enabling unparalleled insights and analytics that translate into performance gains, Their AI expertise and leading observability technology perfectly complement our team’s pursuit of excellence and passion for winning.

Peter Bayer said, as reported by businesswire.com

RB sustained a mediocre performance in the 2024 season due to the mid-season driver change. The two young drivers look promising in helping the team score impressive results from the get-go. Faenza will have to work on their form to deem a better start to the upcoming season in Formula 1.
