Lewis Hamilton is all set to debut with Ferrari in the 2025 season. He is expected to return the Italian constructor to their lost glory in Formula 1. The 40-year-old will also push towards achieving his record-breaking eighth drivers’ title. F1 Pundit Roberto Chinchero talked about the possibility of the Briton becoming a ‘legend of legends’ after winning with Maranello.
Lewis Hamilton will be hailed as the ‘hero forever’ by the Tifosi is he manages to secure either of the championships for Ferrari after Michael Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen. Roberto Chinchero believed that the difference between Schumacher and Hamilton was that the former joined when he was just a two-time champion. The 40-year-old is already a legend, winning seven titles, and joined the Scuderia just to write the final chapter of his career.
This is a different story becuase Michael [Schumacher] was young and a double world champion. He became a legend with Ferrari. Lewis is already a legend, and he’s here to write the final chapter of his career, so it’s a different scenario.
Roberto Chinchero told rtbf.be.
Chinchero believed that Hamilton’s victory at Ferrari’s home circuits such as Monza or Imola would be completely different from his other wins. The Italian asserted that if the 40-year-old achieved his eighth title with Maranello, he would become the ‘legend of the legends’. Hence, the Briton was a part of a ‘fantastic’ story with the Scuderia that was set to transcend Formula 1.
But I can’t imagine what will happen if he wins at Monza, Imola, or Monaco. For me, that would be enough. Of course, if he wins an eighth title, he’ll become the legend of the legends. It’s a fantastic story that transcends sport.

Roberto Chinchero ‘never expected’ to see Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari’s Red
Lewis Hamilton hadn’t been spotted in Ferrari’s red ever before joining the team. The 40-year-old felt amazing after donning the iconic color. Robert Chinchero pointed out that he never expected to witness Hamilton in Red. Chinchero believed that it would take him a few races to adjust to the ordeal.

I never expected to see him in Red, and I still haven’t got used to it, actually. It’ll take a few races for me to adjust, as he’s so strongly associated with Mercedes. I feel lucky to witness this.
Roberto Chinchero noted
Hamilton lodged some impressive lap times during the pre-season testing and seems ready to contend for both championships. Ferrari has also achieved a great performance improvement in recent years and seems ready to get up to speed. Time will tell about how the seven-time champion fares against the massive hopes banked on him by the team and the fans.
