He easily recognized players like Neymar Jr. (Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior) and also legends such as Pele (Edson Arantes do Nascimento), Ronaldo (Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima), Romario (Romário de Souza Faria) and Rivaldo (Rivaldo Vítor Borba Ferreira). Perez is an ardent fan of the sport and is often seen doing football-related activities within the F1 paddock.

F1 pundit insists Red Bull ‘can’t take’ Sergio Perez into 2025

Sergio Perez has had a horror show on the racing track this year. He has done a brilliant job with his off-track antics but when it comes to showing his on-track skills, he has done an outright horrendous job.

F1 Pundit Martin Brundle feels the Milton-Keynes-based Red Bull can’t afford to give Perez a shot in 2025.

He’s got a contract for next year. That’s the only thing Sergio can say. But on this performance? If this is his level now? Red Bull cannot take that into next year.

The 2024 F1 season is 20 races down and Perez has only managed to amass 150 points. He is in eighth position in the driver’s championship and is nowhere near in comparison to his teammate prolific teammate Max Verstappen. The Dutchman is currently leading the driver’s championship with an impressive 362 points.

It is high time that the 34-year-old put its some strong performances from Interlaos onwards. Otherwise, there is a very high possibility that Perez might not be seen on the 2025 grid of the pinnacle of motor racing. RB drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson are in with a real shot of taking over the Mexican’s seat.
