Sergio Perez being a Mexican citizen, was however able to guess most of the names during the NBA quiz. He failed to complete the names of the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Boston Celtics. When you look at our opponents, Ferrari will be strong next year, with [Lewis] Hamilton and [Charles] Leclerc. Plus McLaren with [Lando] Norris and [Oscar] Piastri is a strong line-up. We need to make sure that with both of our drivers, that there’s not a big gap between them because you can’t afford to have that.

Christian Horner told motorsport.com

Christian Horner has claimed that both McLaren and Ferrari will be stronger with their lineups in the upcoming season. He has since urged both Max Verstappen and Perez to perform at par with the standards of their rivals.

The Mexican’s underperformance has propelled McLaren to take the lead in the constructors’ championship. He now has no option but to win or secure podiums in the remaining races to compensate for the team’s losses so far.
