The 2024 Formula 1 season has been a rollercoaster for Red Bull to say the least. The team had started the season in a great fashion after following up on their highly dominant 2023 performance. However, Milton Keynes started losing performance down the season and is facing fierce competition from rival outfits. Amidst this, Sergio Perez opened up about the pressures of following up on Max Verstappen‘s dominant performance at Red Bull.
Sergio Perez has continued to face massive uncertainty on his future in Formula 1 despite the two-year contract extension. The Mexican driver is finding it difficult to follow Max Verstappen‘s performance in the 2024 season.
Regardless, the 34-year-old labeled ‘everything’ as his standout moment in the team. Additionally, Perez noted that he had experienced all ghe ups and downs with Milton Keynes.

Apart from this, Checo also opened up regarding the pressure he faced in terms of performing against Verstappen at Red Bull. The Mexican driver added that the team took ‘everything’ out from a driver. Hence, this was the ‘unique’ factor about the Austrian constructor that set it apart from the rest of the teams on the grid.

Sergio Perez reveals the ‘most impressive thing’ about Red Bull
Red Bull joined the Formula 1 grid in 2005 and never looked back since then in terms of scoring dominant performances. The team shares a very impressive history in the pinnacle of motorsport. Hence, being a part of the esteemed organization at Milton Keynes was one of the biggest highlights of Perez’s career.
Perez pointed out that the entire crew at Red Bull gave it their everything from a personal and professional point-of-view. As a result, this was the most impressive thing about the team that he was unable to find in any other team present on the grid.
Everyone is giving everything from a personal level, a professional level, and it goes through the whole organisation. So, to me, that's the most impressive things to be part of Red Bull culture, and something that I've enjoyed, and I haven't found anywhere else.Sergio Perez added
Milton Keynes has continued to struggle mid-way through the 2024 season and needs to work on their form. Hence, the Austrian constructor will deem upgrades over the summer break in hopes of reviving their older winning form. Regardless, the current season will put forth one of the most exciting contingencies towards the end.
