Rumors suggest he could stay with Williams in some capacity next year and move to Audi in 2026. Sergio Perez praised the 21-year-old’s remarkable performances, highlighting his skill and potential. Checo expressed hope that Colapinto secures a seat, emphasizing it would be a shame if such talent goes unrecognized in Formula 1.

I really hope for Franco that he’s able to find that Audi seat. For him, it will be a shame that after the job that he’s doing, he doesn’t get a seat for next year.

Sergio Perez told RacingNews365.com

Formula 1 is an unpredictable sport where a driver can lose their seat at any moment. However, young talents today can learn quickly and adapt to the demands of the sport. Colapinto has easily outperformed Sargeant, and there are high expectations for him in the final six races of the 2024 season. His recent performances have shown his potential, and many believe he can make a significant impact in the coming races.
